Pin down which detail is wrong
Compare the physical watch and reliable documents. Note whether the error is a digit, model reference, brand, or other description. Preserve the original search result and record when you saw it.
Find the responsible record holder
Follow the database provider's dispute instructions or contact the authority that filed the report. Ask what evidence it accepts and how to submit it securely. Useful documents may include an invoice, service record, clear serial photograph, or official case reference.
Keep the process documented
Save your request, attachments, date, and any response. Do not alter documents or make public accusations while the record is reviewed. If an official investigation is involved, follow its instructions.
Until the record owner confirms a correction, treat the discrepancy as unresolved. A seller's assurance or a fresh search screenshot is not a formal amendment.
